. The Spotify founder said “I Do” in front of a number of high-profile friends at Lake Como, with comedian Chris Rock on hand to officiate the service and Bruno Mars acting as the couple’s wedding singer.
Daniel, 33, wore a stone suit and pale blue shirt for the occasion, while his bride Sofia looked elegant in a strapless dip hem gown, with her long brunette hair worn down and straight.

The newlyweds were the image of happiness in a photo posted by Daniel on Facebook, showing them walking hand-in-hand down a confetti strewn aisle past their family and friends.
Guests included Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who shared a photo of himself and his wife Priscilla with the groom on the social networking site.
“We’re at Lake Como in Northern Italy to celebrate the wedding of our good friends, Sofia and Daniel Ek,” he wrote. “Many people know Daniel as one of the great European entrepreneurs — the founder of Spotify. I know him as a great friend and dedicated father.”
Meanwhile Johan Ernst Nilson shared a video of Sofia walking down the aisle, before she happily walked back hand-in-hand with her new husband after the ceremony.
“Tears and laughter. Beautiful Sofia walks the aisle alone to ‘November Rain’, Chris Rock is the priest and the sun goes down over Lago di Como. Absolutely stunning day,” he wrote.
The explorer also thanked Chris Rock for officiating the nuptials in an Instagram post of them together. “Who would be better as a minister at the wedding than Chris Rock,” he captioned the photo. “Thanks bro for making my friends’ wedding a memory for life.”
The high profile guests didn’t end there though; Bruno Mars also performed at the couple’s wedding reception, appropriately singing his hit Marry You following a fireworks display.
Daniel and Sofia have been dating for several years and are parents to two young children, Elissa and Colinne.
