Catherine Duchess of Cambridge leaves the Order of the Garter Service in a carriage at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on June 13, 2011. She wore her classically elegant Diamond Cross Necklace jewellery to this prestigious event. The Order of the Garter is the senior and oldest British Order of Chivalry, founded by Edward III in 1348. Membership in the order is limited to the sovereign, the Prince of Wales, and no more than 24 members. Kate was first spotted wearing the same Diamond Cross Necklace jewellery at the wedding of Hugh van Cutsen and Lady Rose Astor on June 4, 2005.
