Jackie Kennedy owned many sets of pearls. She is best known for her triple strand pearls, however she also owned single and double strand versions. All of her pearls were faux and to the best of our knowledge she did not own one set of precious pearls. Most of the pearl sets she owned were heirloom gifts from her mother or Coco Chanel designs, as Janet Bouvier seemed to like their look and feel. Jackie knew how to add brooches to her pearls for a different look, and a few of her sets had brooches and decoration permanently attached to the string when she received them.
