Duchess wears striking red skirt suit by Italian designer Luisa Spagnoli during visit to Christchurch
The Duchess also donned a Jane Taylor hat for the seventh day of her three week royal tour of New Zealand and Australia
Kate Middleton wore a striking red skirt suit by Italian designer Luisa Spagnoli as she stepped out in Christchurch on day eight of her royal tour of New Zealand and Australia.
The Duchess of Cambridge also wore a black belt and black pumps as she and Prince William toured the city which was devastated by a major earthquake three years ago.
After being welcomed at the city council’s headquarters, the couple were taken to the former headquarters of Canterbury Television, known as the CTV Building, which became a symbol of the quake when it collapsed.
There, the royals met family members of the 185 people who were killed in the February 2011 disaster.
They were later shown the city’s so-called Transitional Cathedral.
The original cathedral was damaged beyond repair in the earthquake.
