The Wedding No-No
Every now and then someone thinks of a wedding theme or idea that sounds perfect in the mind but looks completely horrible in real time. When it comes to your wedding day, you want it to be two things: elegant and memorable. The reason you want your wedding to be known as that is because that’s what you want you and your spouse to be known as forever. Whenever someone goes to plan a wedding after yours, you want people to think, “wow, I need to have a wedding as elegant as so and so. That was the best wedding I have ever been to.” Your wedding day shouldn’t always be just memorable to you, of course you’re the only one that counts at the end of the day, but it should be memorable to all.
The one thing you never want to do at your wedding is to have a theme or setting that is dark in any way, shape, or form. The closest thing to dark that you’re allowed to have is a purple. Not a dark purple, but a purple that gives off that radiance that you’re looking to have at your darling wedding. Anything outside of that, and the wedding almost gives off a dreary sense. Now, if that’s what you’re going for then by all means do whatever it is that you want to do. If it’s not, try to go with more vibrant colors.
You don’t necessarily need to wear white at the wedding. Cream, yellow, beige, and a baby blue are perfect wedding dress colors to have these days. Each color actually helps the bride a lot more than white does. The colors actually connect more with their beautiful skin tones, their eyes, and their body structure, leaving everyone at the wedding in complete awe. Look into those colors for more than just your wedding dress, but for the wedding in general. Combining the colors with vintage furniture and some other little wedding decorations make for a great wedding and is bound to be a statement wedding in anyone’s mind that’s in attendance.
